LeeAnn DiBiase, MS, RD, LD, is a registered dietician certified in adult weight management.

She has served as the a Clinical Dietician for Summa Wellness Institute where she created the Healthystart Weight Management Program. She also served as the creator and director of a weight management program for the Joann Fabric Company, leading individual and group counseling.

In addition to her work at HWC, LeeAnn serves as an Outpatient Oncology Dietitian at the Cooper Cancer Center at Akron City Hospital providing individual counseling and nutrition classes. Her previous work includes serving as the Outpatient Dietitian at the Cleveland Center for Eating Disorders, specializing in eating disorders among athletes. She also spent several years leading sports nutrition programs and directing food service programs in educational institutions.

She received a master’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Rhode Island in 1987 after achieving a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wheaton College in Massachusetts in1981. LeeAnn provides presentations to health care facilities, chambers and Rotary clubs on a wide range of topics related to nutrition and diet and has been featured locally on FOX8 and the Ray Horner Radio Show.

 

Nutrition Coaching
Nutrition coaching provides guidance for clients to maintain optimal health through what they eat. LeeAnn will help you manage weight loss, disordered eating issues, oncology nutrition and other specific health conditions such as high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes. Her approach is to first determine why there may be a food related problem and then through education, encouragement and guidance, emplower you to make the changes necessary for lifelong success.

LeeAnn also provides meal plans, shopping lists and cooking classes.
